Eric Esser

President + Chief Executive Officer

Eric E. Esser. Mr. Esser joined Telesis Bio in May 2022 as our Chief Operating Officer, and was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in April 2024. Mr. Esser brings a wealth of experience from his more than 25 years in leadership positions, having held roles across all areas of sales, marketing, operations, and product development.  He brings a unique combination of global leadership experience across all functions, together with deep experience building and growing early-stage fast-growing life-science companies. Mr. Esser began his career in engineering and operations positions at KLA-Tencor focused on development and production of large-scale semiconductor wafer inspection systems. In 2001 he joined Molecular Devices where he led New Product Introduction and brought many ELISA, cell imaging and analysis products into commercial production. Mr. Esser established and led Molecular Devices Asia as General Manager, based in Shanghai, and lived and worked in Asia for more than 9 years.  He has held senior leadership positions at ProteinSimple (now Bio Techne), Unchained Labs, and immediately prior to joining Telesis Bio was VP of Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Berkely Lights (acquired by Bruker). Mr. Esser holds an BS in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry.
