Mike brings extensive experience in life sciences and biotechnology, with senior roles in both startups and public companies. His expertise spans genomics, synthetic biology, automation, and commercialization.

Over his 30+ year career, Mike has delivered strong results, including scaling businesses, raising capital, and launching transformative products. Most recently, as CEO of Tierra Biosciences, he led a successful protein platform launch and Series A funding. Prior to that, as CCO at Synthego Corporation, he aggressively grew revenue enabling substantial levels of venture funding. Mike has a track record in building high-performing teams, forging strategic partnerships, and driving successful acquisitions, delivering substantial shareholder value.
